ABOUT US

Originally known as Upper Yarra Children’s Services Inc. we came to being in 1996, assuming control and responsibility for Woori Yallock, Launching Place, Millgrove and Warburton Preschools. Since the beginning, we have operated as a not-for-profit group of amalgamated community preschools. In 2005, Upper Yarra Children’s Services Inc. became a recognised Early Years Manager. This meant a small amount of state government funding is granted each year towards management and administrative support. To better reflect our commitment to community run preschools in the local area, in 2011 our name was changed to Yarra Ranges Kindergartens Inc.
